Xiaomi’s long-awaited Poco F2 was spotted on bench-marking website Geekbench shortly after the appearance of Poco f1 lite. According to the listing, Xiaomi Poco F2 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor, the same chipset that powers the likes of Samsung Galaxy S10 and is expected on OnePlus 7. The chipset is coupled with 4GB of RAM.
Considering the multiple variants of Xiaomi Poco F2, the 4GB model is expected to be the base model. The top-end model could come with up to 6 or 8GB of RAM. The poco F2 smartphone is expected to run on latest Android Q operating system.If launched soon, Xiaomi Poco F2 will be one of the first smartphones in India to offer the latest Qualcomm chipset and Google OS.
Xiaomi Poco F2 has scored 1776 points in single-core test and 6097 points in multi-core test. The benchmark scores are lower than the peak scores of smartphones running on Qualocmm’s Snapdragon 855 SoC.
Apart from Poco F2, Xiaomi is also working on a lower-cost Poco phone. Conveniently dubbed as Poco F1 Lite, the smartphone is rumored to run on Snapdragon 660 which is same as the one on Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 smartphone. Xiaomi Poco F1 Lite runs on Android Pie out-of-the-box and up to 4GB of RAM.
