Motorola has been working on the next p-series smartphone which could be the successor of the P30 smartphone. The specifications and the design of upcoming P40 smartphone was recently leaked on the internet.
One of the notable features of upcoming P40 smartphone is the 48-megapixel primary rear camera.It also comes with a in-display selfie camera. The launch date and price of Motorola P40 is not yet revealed.

Design & Performance
The Motorola P40 smartphone sports a 6.2-inch full HD+ IPS display with a high screen-to-body ratio. It has a all-glass front and back build which gives a very premium look to the device. The phone has a small punch-hole in the front which houses the selfie camera.
The rear of Motorola P40 houses the fingerprint sensor, Dual camera setup, and the Android One branding. The Android One branding which indicates that the device will be affordable and it will get the latest security updates for at least two years.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Octa-Core CPU and Adreno 612 GPU. The Snapdragon 675 is a 64-bit chipset that is manufactured using 11 nm technology. Moto P40 will be available in both 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants.
In the optics section, the Motorola P40 has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor. For selfie, it gets a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/1.75 size aperture and supports AI functionality.
Battery & Connectivity
The smartphone is fueled by a 4,132mAh battery and it also has support for Near Field Communication (NFC). The Motorola P40 comes with a dual-SIM setup which is placed on the left, while the power and volume buttons are on the right.
On the bottom, the Motorola P40 will get a USB Type-C port, microphone, and a speaker grille. On the top bezel, the P40 will get the 3.5mm headphone jack. The device has connectivity features including 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE support.
